For over 90 years, The Plant Home has been setting the standard for assisted living in Maine. Located on the banks of the Kennebec River in historic Bath, Maine, we are conveniently located 35 minutes from Portland and 10 minutes from Brunswick and have 37 private one and two-bedroom assisted living apartments.
Independent Retirement Living
Part of our 17 acre assisted living campus provides two-bedroom apartments for independent retirement living. Our proposed expansion will provide 44 more assisted living and independent retirement apartments.
Charitable Giving
As the only charitable assisted living home in Maine providing private apartments to Medicaid eligible elders, The Plant Home provides over $400,000 in subsidies annually to our residents with financial needs.
